Packing is quite possibly one of the most difficult tasks, because let’s face it, most of us end up over packing anyway! I like to plan for every occasion, because who knows what might happen? However by some miracle I managed to pack a rucksack’s worth of clothes for 10 days in Germany, and there were five beauty products in particular that helped me save on space, and proved quite efficient.
As I could hardly bring my entire collection of lip products, this lip balm from The Body Shop (reviewed here) is quite the superhero. It is slightly tinted so you get that little bit of colour, and it keeps your lips moisturised for hours – perfect for hot weather!
Batiste travel size dry shampoo is a great alternative if you can’t or don’t want to wash your hair every day. Holiday hair can look crazy as it does already, but sometimes you need a little spritz to revive and give it a bit of life. Another hair essential is the compact Tangle Teezer, it’s the perfect size to throw in your bag, and saves much more space than if you were to pack a regular hair brush. They come in a range of styles, so there is one to suit every taste!
As mentioned in my previous post, Garnier micellar water comes in a great mini version, and can be used alone with some cotton pads, or even teamed up with a pack of Simple face wipes! Not only do these super soft wipes remove makeup and cleanse, but they’re perfect if you just want to freshen up when you’re hot and sweaty.
Have you tried any of my beauty essentials on your travels?
