I’m not quite ready to let go of Summer just yet (and technically there’s still a whole month left!), but despite the weather turning a little more mild, looking after your hair is just as important. Whether that’s getting a regular trim, or using heat protection when using styling appliances, there’s lots of little tips and tricks to keep your locks looking and feeling healthy.
The main tip that you definitely would have heard of before is having a trim roughly every 6 weeks. This reduces the chance of split ends, and prevents weak and brittle hair. Also make sure to avoid using the hottest setting on a hair dryer as it can be damaging, especially if you’re using it with another hot tool such as straighteners. My personal favourite is to use a double-set wide tooth comb, which carefully removes any tangles or snags from my hair. Hair care doesn’t have to be expensive or time consuming after all, it’s just a matter of using the right tools, and using products that work best with your hair.
