Quite a few months ago I picked up Maybelline Color Tattoo in the shade 65 Pink Gold, and I can safely say it is still one of my favourite eyeshadows I frequently use. I usually apply it with either my fingers or an eyeshadow brush – mostly the latter to save my fingers from getting messy and for a smooth application.
My hair is currently a pastel pink shade with blonde highlights (which is pretty amazing since I last dyed it pink in January!), so Maybelline Color Tattoo Pink Gold complements my hair colour perfectly. This creamy eyeshadow paired with winged eyeliner is a gorgeous look, and one that I usually wear on a night out. Considering the amount of use it’s gotten since I purchased it, it still looks like new which to me justifies the price tag (£4.99), and I am really impressed by just how little product you need for a lovely pigmented look.
Pink Gold is a gorgeous shimmery colour, and so I prefer to use it alone. Even when I don’t use a primer (which is more often than not) the staying power is great, however I’ve never kept it on my eyes for 24 hours so cannot say if that statement is true or not! This is the second Color Tattoo that I own, as the other is Eternal Gold (short review here), and so far I’m really impressed with the range!
Have you tried Maybelline Color Tattoo yet?
