If I had enough room in my apartment at University, I would love to hoard the many items of clothing and shoes I own. However since I only have a box of a room (resembles a prison), and also share it most of the time with Josh, there isn’t enough room to keep all my junk in there unfortunately. I already have way too many things, as I can never bring myself to throw anything away.
Sadly this means most of my collection of over 30 pairs of shoes, (and yes you read that correctly), have to stay at home, as I could only bring a few pairs with me to University. However whilst I’m home for the weekend, I thought I’d treat you to a little view of my collection! NB: Some of the shoes may contain in-soles on the heel, but that’s just because I have narrow feet!
I’m going to start with heels since there’s only a few of them compared to the amount of flats I own. I didn’t realise it until I was writing this post, but all the heels I left at home and am about to show you, are all platform ones. So first up are these leopard print heels I bought from Internacionale during a sale. I’ve never worn these, but they would make a great addition to a cat costume, am I right?!
Next up are a real favourite of mine. They are a pair of red satin shoes, with diamante detail along the bottom and heel. I’ve worn these so many times out on night out, that they do look a little worn down in places and one of two diamantes have fallen off, but I love them. I believe I got these from eBay.
If you know me well enough, or have read my previous posts to do with fancy dress, you’ll know that I adore dressing up! These heels are perfect to wear either as part of a fancy dress costume, or you could even wear them on a regular day, paired up with complementing clothes. I love the bow and anchor detail!
It’s safe to say these next shoes have been through a lot. I’ve even accidentally left them in a club once, but luckily managed to get them back! These are black T-bar heels with a gold trim, purchased from Matalan. They give amazing height, except they kill your feet after a while if you plan to dance in them all night.
These gold heels are the exact same platform design as the previous shoe, also from Matalan. However I have never worn them!
Last of all, here is another pair of platform heels I got during an Internacionale sale! Unfortunately these pick up dust so easily (as you can see in the following images). I’ve never worn these either, so I’m thinking about selling them.
So that’s my collection of heels that I keep at home! My favourites are the red diamante heels and the sailor ones! Which pair of heels do you like the most?
