Exercise is an important part of day to day life, but if you have a busy lifestyle it can be difficult to find the time to go out to the gym (or if you’re like me, and it just takes a lot of effort). What you may not know is that you can work out at home, just as effective as you would at the gym, and there any many apps you can get for your phone or tablet that can help assist you.
My personal favourite is Blogilates, created by Cassey Ho. Cassey is a certified fitness instructor and she has created POP Pilates, (which is basically Pilates with energy in an upbeat style). She is passionate about teaching others how to train harder, eat healthier, and live a happier life.
Although there is a Blogilates website that offers printables and various other features, I much prefer the app because you can access it with ease whenever and wherever you like. Not only is there a whole community to help support you, but the app contains nifty little features like healthy recipes, forums, and most importantly monthly plans of workouts. Every day you check off the completed workouts or goals, with little motivational messages integrated into the system! There are a few plans you can choose to follow, personally I am on the beginners because let’s face it, before Blogilates my exercise level was sedentary!
Each day after working out you will feel yourself getting stronger, without even having to leave your bedroom! You can do Blogilates on a mat or on the floor, and wherever you feel most comfortable.
